Alex has more than 16 years experience in helping companies to achieve positive outcomes for their business and their customers. He is currently a senior level expert within Kofax France, helping companies, including financial institutions, to get the best from Kofax software to ensure they can add significant value to their customers. Alex is an expert in the role that technology and software plays in the journey that your customers go through with onboarding and how this relates to Know Your Customer (KYC). He helps companies to engage with their customers, reduce risk, costs, and compliance issues. Alex has previously held roles at OpenText, SAP, and Oracle. He is a native of the greater Paris area, studied Economics at the Universite Paris 8, and in his spare time enjoys doing many sports as running, cycling and quite recently spend family time with his 5 month baby girl.

After 10 years at Accenture Olivier co-founded and managed Smile in the Benelux region which is now the Europe leading Open Source integrator with over 1000 people and 100 Million turnover.

Olivier has then joined ING Group first as Global Head of Regulatory Change overseeing the global implementation of EMIR, MAD ii or MIFID ii.

Since March 2018 Olivier joined the Innovation Office Management Team as Global Head of FinTechs overseeing the scouting, selection and partnering between all FinTechs and all ING units. Olivier holds a PhD in Astrophysics and an MBA from Lyon Business School in Finance.

Zahoor Rahimtoola is a FinTech entrepreneur passionate about solving large systemic problems through human-centred technological innovation.

In his role at Barclays, Zahoor is currently leading the effort to make banking more open & connected through an ecosystem approach by commercialising the API Business. This involves co-developing new propositions and ventures with startups and other large corporates by leveraging the bank’s capabilities and assets across everyday banking, payments, data, lending and more.

Zahoor has had a decade long career in digital innovation and venture building, with experience as an investor and operator working with PE funds as such as Hellman & Friedman and Actis, establishing a Bank-FinTech partnership platform in the UK called Mixer and an award-winning digital venture in India called Blink Digital, which boasts clients such as Amazon, KFC and ICICI Bank and c.100 employees.

Zahoor has an MBA in Finance (PE concentration) from London Business School (UK) and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (Product Design specialisation) and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University (USA). Outside of his professional career, Zahoor is extremely passionate about poverty alleviation, music and impact investing.

Before joining Mostly AI in 2019, Alexandra Ebert researched GDPR’s impact on Artificial Intelligence and data-driven innovation in Europe and graduated in Digital Marketing. At Mostly AI, she is responsible for engaging with the privacy community, with regulators, the media and with customers. Apart from that, she was pleased to be invited to join the group of AI experts for the Ms. AI initiative.

Recovering ad-man and ex-punk rocker David is CEO at 100%Open, the global open innovation agency. When not creating new open strategies for clients, inventing new open innovation tools or making sure 100%Open is 100% ahead of the curve he consistently fails to write a book on human emotions. Other so-called hobbies that get little attention are flying remote control planes, restoring old cars and making sourdough. David loves to connect people, ideas and organisations and is on a mission to make the world a more collaborative place. 100%Open has been working with UBS for 4 years and is intensely proud of The Future of Finance programme as part of 100%Open’s 10 year journey.

Neda stands on two verticals: innovation and sustainability. As a Senior Digital Innovation Manager, she empowers Swedbank, the larges Scandinavian bank, to identify, conceptualize, and test disruptive banking solutions and aims to build innovation culture in the organization. Previously she has run innovation consultancy to advice corporations in innovation embedding and been an active startup community builder and supporter in Stockholm and Vilnius. Neda’s earlier carrier was within UN organization, where she launched and managed an innovative sustainability programme in Europe and Central Asia. She has also been working in various countries and sectors as environmentalist and as international development agent. Neda’s background is within Design Thinking, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship as well as Environmental Sciences and Policy, and even – Geography.

After obtaining his Master degree in Econometrics in Rotterdam and Sydney, Patrick started his career at ING Group Risk Management. In 2007 Patrick made the switch to DNB supervision, initially in Basel II model approvals. Applying lessons from the global financial crisis to policy, he led the enhancement of the Dutch regulatory liquidity framework in 2010–2012 and co-lead the European implementation of enhancements to liquidity supervision in the context of the European Banking Authority and Single Supervisory Mechanism (ECB). Right at the start of the SSM Supervision, Patrick was promoted to Head of Department at DNB overseeing supervision of one of the large Dutch banks as part of the management of the Joint Supervisory Team. After spearheading the new digital strategy for DNB’s supervision in 2018, Patrick was promoted to the newly created position of Chief Innovation Officer Supervision. In this capacity he is responsible for technological innovation which has an internal (suptech) and external (fintech, regtech, techfin, etc) scope.

Jannicke Birkevold is Innovation Expert in DNB Bank ASA, the largest bank in the Nordic.
She has more than twenty years’ experience operating in the crossroad between tech specialists, business operations, compliance and customers to drive and get good results from innovation projects in large corporates. She has been CEO of DNB ID Solution AS, an internal startup in the DNB Group as well as Head of Digital Innovation. Before joining DNB Bank she has been lead project manager for large IT projects in public sector and has experience from media and non-profit organizations.

Malin Lignell has more than 20 years of experience working with advisory services towards both individual customers and corporates within Handelsbanken. She has been in leadership roles at several Handelsbanken branches for more than ten of those years. In september 2019 she joined the team for Digitalization and Innovation in the Handelsbanken group, and hence complemented the groups’ deep technical understanding regarding emerging technologies and close relationship with the startup and fintech community with extensive experience from working with customers. Malin now works at both strategic and operational level combining communication within the organization at large as well as externally and project management to drive, inspire and challenge the organization to become more innovative and focus on the opportunities that come with the bank’s digitalization journey.

Juan M. Arjona is an experienced Innovation Manager in Retail Banking and Consumer Finance industry. Active member of startups ecosystem, leads Corporate Innovation program at Oney Bank.
He has built and execute, as cross-functional manager in Spain and China, various technology and payment solutions for Europe and APAC retail market leaders.
As product division manager launched the first mobile retail wallet for the largest hypermarket operator in China (Sun Art).
Now he is focused on creating an alliances ecosystem to accelerate business transformation and boosting human competences: “The agility of startup, the power of big corporation”

Currently he is working as Chief Innovation Officer at Banco Sabadell. He has developed his professional career in several banking entities managing positions of responsibility in areas related to technology, financial markets, product development and relationship with clients, such as Treasury and Capital Markets, Private Banking or Research. He holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and an MBA from the IE Business School. Likewise, he is a very active member of Spanish sectorial working groups belonging to the Spanish Banking Association and acting as member of the board in several organizations like Alastria Blockchain Consortium, Redsys or Iberpay, among others

Anneli Bartholdy is Strategic Partner at Nordea, Digital Innovation & Product Ownership for Commercial Business Banking. Anneli has 7 years of experience working with corporate innovation in various large, European companies as well as several years’ experience as an entrepreneur. Her work with innovation has ranged from R&D portfolio management, operationalizing innovation into digital organisations, startup and technology partner scouting and projects, and explorative cocreation across organisations with partners and customers.

Anneli’s team is working on understanding which future scenarios will impact what it means to start and run a business 2 – 3 years out in the future, and how Nordea can collaboratively design solutions for making running a business easy and seamless with the customer. Knowing that the role of banks is already changing, her team is focused on customers’ anticipated needs and their changing realities to drive the focus and priorities which may be banking related or beyond.

Mario oversees Santander Innoventures’ portfolio, with a focus on enabling value creation within portfolio businesses through initiatives with Banco Santander business units.

After joining Banco Santander in 2006, Mario held a variety of positions in M&A, IT & Ops, Corporate Development and within venture building initiatives. He has been a founding member of internal initiatives in direct e-lending, SME finance, and personal finance management.

He has conducted dozens of transactions across sectors such as consumer, retail (goods and services), financial services and business process outsourcing, giving Mario a broad knowledge of business operations within growth-stage companies.

Sami is an innovation dude and evangelist of future payments and retail ecosystems. Sami works at OP Lab. OP Lab is part of OP Financial Group

Mary Alcantara is the Deputy Managing Director of MKB Fintechlab, Hungary’s first fintech investor and innovation lab owned by MKB Bank. Fintechlab’s mission is to transform Budapest into the fintech capital of the CEE region. At Fintechlab, Mary runs a 12-week accelerator program each spring, organizes an annual Fintech Academy, periodic meetups and hackathons, and brokers bank partnerships with startups and scaleups. She is passionate about open innovation, building ecosystems, and helping banks create superior experiences for their customers.

Mary has been a key player in the Hungarian startup ecosystem for the last 7 years. She is a founding partner of tandemLEAP, a business management company with offices in Budapest and New York City. She has consulted and mentored for many of Budapest’s leading incubation and accelerator programs, including the Hungarian government’s INPUT Program, and is a founding member of the Hungarian Business Angel Network. Mary received a Bachelor’s Degree from Harvard University and an MBA from Central European University.

Laszlo has more than 20 years of experience in the IT field. The current primary focus is managing a pipeline from R&D to production and leveraging state of the art new technologies like AI and Blockchain with the standard highly available technologies. His managed team increased to nearly one hundred professionals in one year. Team culture built on the Teal organizational model, which lead to a self-organized way of working. The alignment of the organization to technology will lead to a performant team, which accept the continuous change of the environment. The managed team is working with opensource, distributed software technologies, which has the lowest TCO.
