Neda stands on two verticals: innovation and sustainability. As a Senior Digital Innovation Manager, she empowers Swedbank, the larges Scandinavian bank, to identify, conceptualize, and test disruptive banking solutions and aims to build innovation culture in the organization. Previously she has run innovation consultancy to advice corporations in innovation embedding and been an active startup community builder and supporter in Stockholm and Vilnius. Neda’s earlier carrier was within UN organization, where she launched and managed an innovative sustainability programme in Europe and Central Asia. She has also been working in various countries and sectors as environmentalist and as international development agent. Neda’s background is within Design Thinking, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship as well as Environmental Sciences and Policy, and even – Geography.

After obtaining his Master degree in Econometrics in Rotterdam and Sydney, Patrick started his career at ING Group Risk Management. In 2007 Patrick made the switch to DNB supervision, initially in Basel II model approvals. Applying lessons from the global financial crisis to policy, he led the enhancement of the Dutch regulatory liquidity framework in 2010–2012 and co-lead the European implementation of enhancements to liquidity supervision in the context of the European Banking Authority and Single Supervisory Mechanism (ECB). Right at the start of the SSM Supervision, Patrick was promoted to Head of Department at DNB overseeing supervision of one of the large Dutch banks as part of the management of the Joint Supervisory Team. After spearheading the new digital strategy for DNB’s supervision in 2018, Patrick was promoted to the newly created position of Chief Innovation Officer Supervision. In this capacity he is responsible for technological innovation which has an internal (suptech) and external (fintech, regtech, techfin, etc) scope.
